The next Shikinen Sengu, or the Regular Shrine Removal of the Grand Shrine of Ise (Ise Jingu)will occur in 2013. The preparation began in 2005. Okihiki Gyoji Events, Pulling Logs Events take place this year and the next year. Prior to the events, Okihiki-zome-shiki ceremonies were held on April 12 and 13.
